Two teams took part in the EFL Football League Cup at Roko, Portsmouth. Both teams played well with one making it as far as the semi-finals.
YR 6 won the Havant & Waterlooville Schools league and the Hampshire Cup.

Our basketball team won the Havant & Waterlooville Schools Gold League and the Portsmouth League. We attended the Hampshire Games to represent Havant Schools and despite playing extremely well, we lost out in a place in the final by one basket! We were however very pleased to finish 3rd.

Our YR 5/6 Quad Kids team competed very strongly in the local league, winning the event and  progressing to represent Havant in the Hampshire Games. We finished 9th.

We attended the Mountbatten Centre SE Hants Athletics meeting in the summer term. We had some very strong individual performances and were thrilled when the results were announced:
YR 3/4 BOYS  –  1ST
YR 3/4 GIRLS  –  2ND
YR 5/6 BOYS  –  1ST
YR 5/6 GIRLS  –  1ST

An outstanding year which we hope to repeat again.

The boys have their first Hampshire Cup match after half term.

Both our U10’s and U11’s played in an area tournament recently at Wide Lane in Southampton. Both teams performed exceptionally well with the U10’s finishing 2nd and the U11’s 4th.

Three teams from Purbrook took part in an Ultimate Frisbee competition this week, hosted by Springwood School. We played really well with two teams receiving silver medals for finishing second in their leagues and the third placing fourth.
