Today, we finished the 2020-2021 academic year – a challenging yet fulfilling year in many ways. Well done to all children for your resilience and determination throughout this year – your teachers and the whole school staff are so proud of you.

We said farewell to our Year 6 cohort who will move onto their secondary school studies in September. We are incredibly proud of you Year 6 and wish you well as you start your new journey. DREAM BIG.

We also said farewell to two members of staff today – Mrs Baylie and Miss Edwards. Mrs Baylie has been a teacher at Purbrook Junior School for 13 years and will be greatly missed by all of us. Miss Edwards is leaving to join Mr Baines and his company Sport4Primary so no doubt we will still see a lot of her in the future. Good luck and best wishes to you both!

Have a wonderful break Purbrook, stay safe and we will see you on Thursday 2nd September!
