The Big Dreamers – Our School Council
The Big Dreamers are a group of enthusiastic and dedicated children from across the school who have been elected by their peers to represent pupil voice at Purbrook Junior School. We to help make our school the very best place it can be for all children. We are little people with big dreams!
Led by Mrs O’Hare and supported by two Year 6 Co‑Captains, the Big Dreamers work together to listen to ideas, gather opinions and take action on projects that matter to pupils.
Throughout the year, the Big Dreamers meet regularly to discuss ways to improve school life. Some of the projects and discussions this year so far include:
- Exploring new playground ideas to make break and lunchtime even more enjoyable.
- Helping shape our whole‑school reward system by contributing ideas for the 2%er stickers.
- Supporting decision‑making across the school by sharing pupil perspectives and creative suggestions.
The Big Dreamers are committed to being approachable, proactive and positive role models—making sure every child’s voice is heard.
