Welcome to our School Library!

We are lucky to have a dedicated library space with over 6000 books, with something to suit everyone!

However, if there are books that the children would like to have in our library, there is a book request box in the main library area.

The library system that we use is web based and you will soon be able to access it from home via our school website, (more details to follow soon). This enables you to search our catalogue, to see what new books we have in the library and what are the most popular books. As well as a huge selection of ebooks and thousands of approved websites. Pupils can research a topic to see what resources we have in the school library, or what websites may be available online.

Each class has a slot each week to go to the library and choose two books to read at school and home.

The library is open most lunchtimes, Mondays for Year 5, Tuesday for Year 6, Wednesday – closed, Thursday for Year 3 and Friday for Year 4 from 12.30 to 1pm.

The library is open for parents after school every day, from 3.20pm to 3.45pm, for pupils to change their books. If you wish to visit with your child or would like to see me about anything book or library related I am always happy to help.

We encourage our pupils to use their public library facilities too. Click the following link…
